Parliament's autumn session ends

Chisinau, Dec. 28 /MOLDPRES/- Parliament's ordinary autumn session ended today. A decision in this regard was adopted by MPs.

Speaker Igor Grosu delivered a speech at the end of the plenary session, summing up the parliamentary activity. In his message, he thanked all professionals for their efforts, appreciating the work of teachers, educators, doctors, policemen, mayors, civil servants, diplomats, etc.

Traditionally, the session ended with the National Anthem and the honoring the State Flag.

According to the parliament's Regulations, the Legislature meets in two regular sessions per year. The autumn session starts in September and cannot go beyond the end of December. Deputies will return from the parliamentary winter vacation starting from 15 January 2024.
