Budget revenues managed by State Fiscal Service increase by 16.3 per cent in Moldova in 2023

Chisinau, 2 January /MOLDPRES/ - The revenues to the national public budget managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) amounted to about 64 billion lei (3.2 billion euros) in 2023, which shows an increase of about nine billion lei or by about 16.3 per cent more against the year before.
According to operative information by SFS, about 27.5 billion lei was collected in the state budget in 2023, which is by about 3.7 billion lei more against the 2022 year, or up by 15.4 per cent.
Revenues worth about 7 billion lei were collected in the local budgets, which is by about 1.1 billion lei more against 2022 or up by 18.5 per cent.
Also, about 22 billion lei was collected in the state social insurances budget, which is by about 3.1 billion lei more against the 2022 year, increasing by 16.3 per cent.
At the same time, about 7.5 billion lei was accumulated in the mandatory health insurances accounts, with the sum being by 17.6 per cent higher.
