Parliament standing committees convened in 67 meetings in last month of last year

Chisinau, 3 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- In December 2023, the parliament standing committees convened in 67 meetings. 111 reports, 15 joint reports and 99 opinions were approved.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the members of the Economy, Budget and Finance Parliamentary Committee approved 34 reports, one joint report and two opinions. During the same period, the parliamentary commission on rules and immunities convened in 12 meetings. 22 reports, two opinions and joint reports were approved. At the same time, the members of the Social Protection, Health and Family Parliamentary Committee approved 13 reports, a joint report and 18 opinions.

Standing committees are working bodies of the Parliament that examine draft legislative acts and legislative proposals to draw up reports or opinions, carry out parliamentary inquiries, debate and decide on other issues, including on the assignment of the speaker or the vice-presidents.
