Government e-services to be available via EVO mobile app

Chisinau, 10 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Cabinet approved the concept for EVO application. Both private people and legal entities will have access to information and functionalities, the government's communication department has reported.

The mobile application will make available digital documents, where it will be possible to access: identity card, driver's license and registration certificates. Moreover, it will integrate modules and data from MCabinet, as well as provide direct access to services and information from the Public Services Portal. The full version will include the option to grant, revoke, review and keep MPower proxies; will make it possible to make appointments to the services available in the eScheduling system, as well as access information on insured status, family doctor, vaccine information and other health information.

The Electronic Government Agency has been appointed as the owner and keeper of the EVO application and will ensure the functionality and continued development of the application. It will be available for free download through the Play Store and App Store.

The implementation of the EVO app is carried out with the support of development partners (Future Technologies project, funded by USAID, Sweden and Great Britain; as well as UNDP), the cost is over 3.5 million lei. For 2024, the development of the new functionalities intended for representatives of the business environment will be carried out with the support of the Future Technologies Project, the estimated cost is about 2.0 million lei.
