Government reduces unnecessary costs and barriers for Moldovan business environment

Chisinau, 10 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- The government has approved the amendment of 12 normative acts, the new regulations will support the business environment in the country by reducing costs and barriers in the entrepreneurship sector, the government's communications department has reported.
The amendments see the recognition of commodity exchanges authorized in the EU member states and allow electronic transactions, management of several types of markets, as well as the diversification of exchange contracts.
Also, actions will be taken that will extend the term from 14 days to a maximum of 30 days for the repair or replacement of the products by the seller. At the same time, the complaints register will be canceled - complaints submitted directly to merchants will have the same value as those in the register. At the same time, entrepreneurs will benefit from remote electronic signatures through video recordings of the applicant.
About 183 million lei will be saved annually due to the amendments. The project does not involve additional budget costs, contributes to the elimination of bureaucracy, corruption and helps entrepreneurs to focus on development and the creation of well-paid jobs.
