National Public Health Agency says 75 flu cases registered in Moldova in last week

Chisinau, 16 January /MOLDPRES/ - Seventy five cases of seasonal influenza, confirmed through the way of laboratory and in the clinical and epidemiological one, were registered during 08-14 January.

According to the National Public Health Agency, the flu cases were recorded in Chisinau - 50 cases, Soroca -10, Criuleni and Orhei – 3 cases each, Balti, Falesti and Floresti municipalities – 2 cases each, Causeni, Rezina and Ungheni – 1 case each. These cases were reported in people who belong to the following age groups: 0-4 years (22 cases), 5-14 years (13 cases), 15-29 years (4 cases), 30-64 years (21 cases), 65 years and more (15 cases).

As many as 288 cases of influenza, 97,877 cases of viroses have been notified in Moldova since the beginning of the cold season.
