European Commissioner for Home Affairs on visit to Chisinau

Chisinau, February 15 /MOLDPRES/- European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson is on a working visit to Chisinau today.

The visit will begin with the inauguration of the EU4Security Moldova project, which aims to improve the operational capabilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Ylva Johansson will participate in the opening of the Child Safety Online International Forum, which focuses on protecting the privacy of the most vulnerable Internet users.

The official will also meet with President Maia Sandu.

According to the EU Delegation to Chisinau, in the second part of the day, the Commissioner will participate in the 9th meeting of the EU Support Center for internal security and border management in Moldova and will have discussions with officials of the security sector.

At the end of the visit, Ylva Johansson will have a meeting with Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
