Moldovan PM discusses with public authorities from Nisporeni district

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - The modernization of the settlements from Moldova, the improvement of the quality of the services provided to citizens, as well as the consolidation of the cooperation between the central and local public administration for speeding up the process of Moldova’s accession to the European Union today were tackled at a meeting of Prime Minister Dorin Recean and representatives of the decentralized services from the central Nisporeni district, the government’s communication department has reported.
The PM referred to the importance of the referendum on Moldova’s integration into the European Union, in order to ensure the social cohesion and the edification of a prosperous future for the citizens from all over the country. ‘’We irreversibly anchor the country on the European way, through the contribution of each mayor. We have a common goal, the one to edify Europe at home. We want European infrastructure in our villages and cities, well-paid jobs and qualitative public services provided to citizens. The referendum on Moldova’s accession to EU will ensure the cohesion in the society for the country’s prosperous future,’’ PM Dorin Recean said.
The prime minister touched upon the efforts undertaken already by the government for the development of settlements. He emphasized the European Village and the Express European Village programmes, through which a string of infrastructure projects are backed. Also, PM Dorin Recean spoke about the advantages of the European funds, highlighting the importance of the full assimilation of the financial assistance, in order to improve the living standards in the country’s settlements.
The participants in the discussions approached subjects on the rehabilitation of roads, construction of a bridge across the Prut river at Barboieni, which would boost the Moldovan-Romanian economic relations. At the same time, the sides analyzed the benefits of the regionalization of the public services, the construction of a post of firemen and rescuers, as well as the setting of photovoltaic panels for the supply with energy of the public institution from the region.
