Ten pairs choose to officiate wedding on Romanian love holiday in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 February /MOLDPRES/ - Ten pairs today chose to officiate their wedding, when the love holiday Dragobete is marked in the Romanian culture and traditions, according to the Public Services Agency (ASP).
„On 24 February 2024, ten pairs chose to unite their destinies by officiating the wedding at the civil status bodies. Last year, on the same date, the civil status services registered 49 weddings,’’ ASP said.
The Dragobete is marked on 24 February and represents the Romanian holiday of love. In the people’s tradition, Dragobete is the protector of love and the one who brings luck to people in love.
