Moldovan president congratulates all women of Moldova on International Women's Day

Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has come up with a congratulatory and appreciation message to all women of Moldova on their achievements today, when the International Women’s Day is marked.

„I am proud of the women of Moldova, who daily show to the entire world that they can. They succeed in any sector: research and sport, business, production or education, politics or health. They bring up families, build and develop businesses, take risks, create and lead teams, educate young people, treat patients, give relief to suffering people. With confidence and wisdom, they find solutions to the most difficult problems,’’ President Maia Sandu said.    

The head of state stressed that the people of Moldova worked together to edify a country where all people should be able to live in well-being and harmony.   

„The Moldovan women move the world. Due to them, our country resists and moves forward, even in uncertain times, full of dangers and challenges. On 8 March, on the International Women’s Day, we appreciate the courage and self-denial of the women and we commit to edify a European Moldova, where the women and men live in harmony, having equal rights and opportunities, a society where each person can live freely and happily,’’ President Maia Sandu added.
