Francophone students of Nicolae Testemitanu Medical University of Moldova participate in gastronomic festival

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/ - The francophone students of the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, who are born in Algeria, Congo, India, France, Morocco, Tunisia and Moldova, have participated in the first edition of the Gastronomie et Culture Francophones Festival. The event is organized by the National Bureau of the Francophone University Agency (AUF Moldova) at the Casa din Luncă boarding house from the Trebujeni village, central Orhei district.
According to USMF’s press service, the festival marked the beginning of the activities dedicated to the Days of Francophonie 2024 in Moldova and brought together francophone students of different nationalities from the universities AUF members of the country.
Honorary guests of the event are: AUF Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe Mohamed Ketata, an attache for cooperation at the cultural cooperation and action service of the Embassy of France in Moldova, Maria Neagu, and a representative of the Embassy of Belgium in Moldova.
In all, over 80 francophone students, teachers and pupils from 11 countries celebrated the French language and the diversity of the French culture. The activity was marked, in order to mark the 30th anniversary of AUF’s work in the Central and Eastern Europe.
