Foreign affairs minister has meeting with Ambassador of Germany to Moldova

Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi has had a meeting with Ambassador of Germany to Moldova Margret Uebber.  

The two officials appreciated the high level of the Moldovan-German relations, a fact reconfirmed through the intensity of the political and diplomatic dialogue and cooperation in the fields of mutual interest, which successfully continue this year. The discussions regarded also the perspectives of the bilateral relations, highlighting the interest in the extension of the economic cooperation between the two countries.     

Following the discussions, Minister Mihai Popsoi thanked the interlocutor for Germany’s support in the management of the economic and political challenges in the continuation of the process of Moldova’s accession to the European Union. Also, both sides welcomed the common goals and projects in the fields of strategic interest.     

Her Excellency Margret Uebber reconfirmed Germany’s support for the implementation of the reforms, which will help the advancement of Moldova’s European integration way.
