Moldova Presents exhibition to be staged in Baia Mare, Cluj-Napoca cities of Romania

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldova Presents exhibition will be organized in the cities of Baia Mare and Cluj-Napoca of Romania. The events will take place on 31 May – 2 June 2024 and the native entrepreneurs due to participate in the exhibitions can register till 15 May 2024.     

According to President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sergiu Harea, this year, CCI plans to have more activities along with partners from beyond the Prut river. ‘’Today, we launch, along with partners from Maramures and Cluj-Napoca, the Moldova Presents Exhibition. This exhibition event is expected both by native entrepreneurs who since 2016 so far, have managed to won the likings of the Romanian consumers and by the people from Romania themselves, eager for seeing the favourite products again. Given that the exhibitions will be held on the same period, we invite entrepreneurs to select the region where they want to promote their products or services,’’ Sergiu Harea said.     

The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Maramures, Florentus Tus, reiterated the openness of the institution he leads for a lasting cooperation with CCI of Moldova. He assured both the Chamber of Moldova and entrepreneurs from Moldova from every needed support. ‘’As chamber institution, we will be with you and will do our utmost to stimulate the international economic cooperation. The Moldova Presents exhibition ion Baia Mare will fit into the string of events dedicated to the month of Maramures. The event will comprise both the Moldova Presents exhibition and a salon dedicated to the twin regions of Maramures, among which there are also regions from Moldova, such as: Ungheni, Straseni, Hancesti, which will be present. The artistic schedule will not be lacking from the event too,’’ Florentin Tus said        

The Moldova Presents exhibitions due in Baia Mare and Cluj-Napoca represent a projection of the annual national exhibition, Made in Moldova, from Chisinau and a continuation of the success of the homonymous exhibition from Iasi Brasov and Ploiesti, organized starting from the 2016 year. Over 600native companies from diverse sectors, such as agro-food field, clothes, footwear, textiles and ready-made clothes, constructions, industry, services, participated in the previous editions.        

Being at its third edition, the Moldova Presents exhibition in Baia Mare will be held at the headquarters of the Lascar Pana Polyvalent Hall, on an area of 250 square metres. The event will be organized by CCI of Moldova, CCI of Maramures and the Maramures County Council. A number of 60 companies participated in this exhibition during those two editions.       

The second edition of the exhibition in Cluj-Napoca will be staged on 31 May -2 June 2024.The exhibition will be held in open air, in the Simion Barnutiu Central Park from Cluj-Napoca, where exhibition counters of the participants will be placed on an area of 200 square metres.
