Students training for doctor's degree of Moldovan Medical University get government's scholarship of excellence

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - The scholarship of excellence of the government for the 2024 year has been won by three students training for doctor’s degree who study at the Doctoral School in the field of Medical Sciences of the Nicolae Testemitanu State University Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF).

In all, 36 students training for doctor’s degree from higher education institutions participated in the contest, of whom 21 candidates were selected. Eighteen of them will benefit from the government’s scholarship of excellence in quantum of 3,165 lei (160 euros) and three students will receive the scholarship according to scientific fields – worth 2,640 lei.     

The scholarship of excellence of the government and the scholarship according to scientific fields is annually provided to students training for doctor’s degree admitted to the intramural and extramural education, starting from the second academic year, who fully carried out the programme on advanced preparation and scientific research established by the head of the doctoral education, accumulated the number of credits provided for in the education plan of the doctoral school, got special academic performances and actively participate in the institution’s social life.
