Moldovan deputy PM, deputy foreign affairs minister of Greece discuss developments on Moldova's European integration agenda

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - The developments on the agenda of Moldova’s European integration and the cabinet’s progress made in the implementation of the reforms have been the main subjects of a discussion between Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Greece Alexandra Papadopoulou, the government’s communication department reported.
During the phone conversation, the sides discussed the next steps in the process of Moldova’s accession to EU. Deputy PM Gherasimov stressed that the Moldovan government relied on a quick adoption of the framework of negotiation by the EU member states and the organization, in the nearest future, of the first intergovernmental conference, which is to officially mark the beginning of the negotiations on accession.
Also, Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov thanked for the support provided by Greece on the country’s European integration way during years.
