Moldovan parliament speaker participates in inauguration, after repair, of hospital's intensive therapy section

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Anaesthesia and Intensive Therapy (ATI) Section of the Gheorghe Paladi Municipal Clinical Hospital was inaugurated after capital repair today. Attending the event were Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco, representatives of the municipality and the hospital’s administration, medical staff, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
„We can surely say that what I have seen so far in hospitals from European capitals we can already see at home, either it is about Soroca, Balti, Causeni or Chisinau. These investments will continue, as we invest in physicians, in the future specialists and in the future. Step by step, we edify a modern medicine,’’ the parliament speaker said in his message.
The ATI section with an increased capacity from 6 to 13 beds will provide qualified medical assistance to patients in critical condition. The hospital’s laboratory was endowed with advanced medical equipment and will carry out all emergency analyses needed 24 hours.
The section’s repair cost about 17.5 million lei and was carried out within the World Bank’s Emergency Response to COVID-19 project. Works of repair of 11 ATI sections were carried out at strategical medical institutions of Moldova within this project.
