International member of Vetting Commission announced resignation on 15 May

Chisinau, March 29. /MOLDPRES/- Maria Giuliana Civinini, one of the three international members of the Vetting Commission, notified Speaker, the head of the legal commission on rules and immunities and the the Vetting Commission's head about intention to resign from May 15, 2024.
A new member can be appointed by Parliament according to the provisions of Law 65/2023.
Maria Giuliana Civinini is a retired judge with over 40 years of experience in the Italian judicial system, including as President of the Court of Pisa and member of the Superior Council of Magistracy.
