Moldovan, EU officials approach cooperation

Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu had a meeting with Ambassador of the European Union to Chisinau Jānis Mažeiks. They discussed priorities of the parliamentary agenda for the spring session.
The officials approached reforms in justice, education, economy and environment. "We have set a higher speed because we want to fulfil the legislative programme we have drawn up for 2024, which is quite complex," the speaker said.
He also said that Moldova is under evaluating the national legislation with that of the European Union. Authorities hope that the negotiating framework for our country will be adopted by the EU Council as soon as possible.
Grosu expressed gratitude for all the support provided by the EU through various projects that modernise Moldova's villages and towns, that improve people's lives, as well as projects that strengthen state institutions, thus making our country stronger.
