Employee of Moldovan Embassy in Moscow declared persona non-grata on territory of Russian Federation

Chisinau, March 29 /MOLDPRES/ - An employee of the Moldovan Embassy in Moscow has been declared persona non-grata on the territory of the Russian Federation. Moldova's ambassador to Moscow Lilian Darii was informed about it and was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry today.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), after being declared persona non-grata, the employee of the Moldovan Embassy in Moscow is to return to our country.
"MAE regrets this decision and reiterates that the Moldovan authorities are taking all necessary measures to prevent attempts to interfere in Moldova's internal affairs," the institution said.
On 19 March this year, an employee of the Russian Embassy in Chisinau was declared an undesirable person on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. A note to this effect was handed to Russian ambassador to Chisinau Oleg Vasnetsov, who was summoned to the ministry.
