Chisinau, April 1 /MOLDPRES/ - The National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) today warned road transport operators about the approval of some amendments to the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania on carrying out international road passenger transport by occasional services.
According to ANTA, as of 1 March 2024, it is prohibited to carry out road passenger transport on international routes on the territory of Lithuania with buses with more than nine seats (including the driver's seat) without a permit for the transport of passengers by occasional services.
In this context, ANTA called on the Lithuanian authorities "to clarify the situation and identify appropriate solutions to the current problems, in order to enable transport operators to provide services to passengers".
