Farmers can apply for land management grants as of 1 April

Chisinau, April 1 /MOLDPRES/ - The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) has announced that farmers have the opportunity to access grants as of today that will support their transition to more sustainable agricultural practices.

Moldova Agricultural Competitiveness Project (MAC-P) is launching the fourth call for applications for the post-investment grants for sustainable land management programme. Each eligible beneficiary can apply for a grant of up to $10,000, which will compensate up to 30% of the eligible investment cost. This post-investment financial support aims not only to facilitate access to advanced technology, but also to promote an agricultural model that respects the principles of regeneration and conservation of natural resources.

Applications can be submitted on 1 - 30 April at the territorial offices of the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture.
