Chisinau, April 9 /MOLDPRES/- The national programme for the development of creative industries Creative Moldova 2024-2027 was published in the Official Journal today. It is a complex medium-term policy document aimed at boosting the sector, making it more competitive and increasing its presence in the country's economy.
The programme targets seven sub-sectors of the creative industries and professionals working in these fields, namely: Visual arts (fine arts, photography, design, fashion), Performing arts (theatre, dance, music), Publishing (books and press), Audiovisual (radio, television, cinema, video), Advertising, Createch (new media art, games) and Architecture.
According to statistics, the creative industries sector in the Republic of Moldova represents on average more than 2200 enterprises with about 9,000 employees, as well as 2,500 freelancers.
