Diaspora Relations Office launched registration for DOR Program 2024

Chisinau, April 10 /MOLDPRES/- Diaspora Relations Office (BRD) has launched registration for DOR Diaspora*Origin*Return Program, 12th edition. It will be held on 14 - 23 August, and applications can be submitted by 28 May.

The programme is open to children and young people from the diaspora and the Republic of Moldova, aged between 12 and 17, who know Romanian. It aims at strengthening the emotional, cultural and identity ties of children and young people from the diaspora with their country of origin, the Republic of Moldova.

Participation in the DOR programme is free of charge. All expenses are covered by the state budget, and participants only pay for transport to and from Moldova.

BRD said that applicants from the Republic of Moldova will be selected following a competition.

DOR is a Programme dedicated to both children and young people from the Diaspora and from the Republic of Moldova and is run under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, through the Diaspora Relations Office.
