Chisinau, April 10 /MOLDPRES/- On the sidelines of his official visit to Berlin, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi had meetings with representatives of the Bundestag and senior German officials, such as chairman of the Bundestag's Committee on Foreign Affairs Michael Roth, chairman of the Committee on European Affairs Anton Hofreiter and chairman of the Moldova-Bulgaria-Romania parliamentary friendship group Bernhard Herrmann.
"We have agreed to exchange experiences on the parliamentary line, to work together in international forums and to strengthen European unity in support of Ukraine in Russia's unjust war against our neighbouring country.
We stressed the importance of Germany's support for Moldova's accession to the EU, for reforms that strengthen democracy and the rule of law and for attracting German investment in the national economy, which generates well-paid jobs at home," said Popsoi.
