Moldovan PM meets Eurojust President

Chisinau, April 11 /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean met with President of Eurojust, the European Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation, Ladislav Hamran, the government's communication department has reported.
They discussed the intensification of cooperation in the field of justice, the reforms implemented by the government and the support provided by Eurojust in investigating cross-border crimes.
Recean said that accelerating justice reforms is one of the government's priorities. "We will continue to work in order to achieve the results citizens expect", he said.
The Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and Eurojust entered into force in 2016. The institution provides support and exchange of information to prosecutors and judges from EU Member States and third countries for the investigation of cross-border crimes.
