USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu" invites pupils to attend drawing competition "Doctor - through a child's eyes"

Chisinau, April 12 /MOLDPRES/- For the fourth consecutive year, the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) "Nicolae Testemitanu" invites pupils to participate in "Doctor - through a child's eyes" drawing competition. The event is organised in the context of World Health Day, marked annually in April.

Children are encouraged to make a work - drawing, painting or collage that will portray their emotions and vision on the profession of doctor, pharmacist or nurse, health education and healthy lifestyle.

The competition is open to I-XII grade pupils from primary and secondary education and art high schools or art/ fine arts schools in the country. 

The work must be sent by 7 June to the USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu" with the reference: "Doctor - through a child's eyes" drawing competition. Drawings can also be submitted in person at the university's headquarters.

A jury will assess the works and select nine winners. The award ceremony will be organised on the eve of the Medical Worker's Day, traditionally held on the third Saturday of June. All participants will be awarded with certificates and the winners will receive diplomas and brand products of USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu". The best works will be exhibited in an online gallery.

The original works will be selected for various institutional projects as illustrative material: banners, greeting cards on the occasion of professional days of health specialists, world days of health promotion and combating diseases, thematic exhibitions, etc. Further information is included in the competition Regulations.
