Moldovan, European officials discuss reforms, cooperation

Chisinau, April 15 /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has met with members of the Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia (COEST). The representatives of the EU Council appreciated the progress made by our country in implementing the remaining requirements of the stages formulated by the European Commission in the Enlargement Package for 2023.
Recean said that the government continues to implement the necessary reforms that will create a better life for citizens and speed up the European integration. He pointed out that people are aware of the advantages of Moldova's accession to the EU, and the autumn referendum is an important exercise.
"The government is building Europe at home, through infrastructure projects, through the renovation of hospitals, kindergartens and schools. Citizens support our path to joining the big EU family," he said.
The premier stressed that the government is focusing its efforts on promoting stability-oriented macroeconomic policies and reforms that will foster economic recovery and growth.
