Chisinau, April 16 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova is in an accelerated process of European integration, and the contribution of young people is essential to achieve this goal. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement at the launch event of paid internship programmes in public service, held at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.
Recean encouraged students to register for the internships available in public authorities, stressing that they represent experiences with numerous benefits both for professional training and for the development of our country.
"We have more and more talented and ambitious young people choosing a career in the public sector. Through the work we are doing together, the Government is building a European Moldova and better living conditions for all citizens", he said.
This year, young people can choose between two programmes. The Government offers a tax-free scholarship of 3000 lei for a 480-hour traineeship from 1 June to 30 November, with the possibility of being proposed for appointment to an executive public post in the host authority, without a competition, on condition of completing a full traineeship and being assessed as "very good". A total of 150 places are planned for the May-June recruitment round. For more information, visit: stagii.gov.md.
