Moldovan president visits dairy factory in Comrat

Chisinau, April 16 /MOLDPRES/ - During a working visit to the Gagauz Autonomy, President Maia Sandu visited the dairy factory in Comrat.

"In my trips around the country, I also visit enterprises. Whether it is a bakery, farm, winery or an agro-pension, every business means a source of hope for our country. Last week I visited the dairy factory in Comrat, which provides more than 150 jobs, thus contributing to the region's economy and people's well-being," the head of state said.

Maia Sandu underlined that the authorities are building a relationship of trust with Moldovan entrepreneurs, who are operating correctly, by opening new markets, reducing bureaucratic burdens, providing development funds through the Entrepreneurship Development Organisation or granting subsidies. "The dairy factory in Gagauz Autonomy has benefited from state subsidies worth 7 million lei over the last 4 years. We want these businesses to grow, become strong, and contribute even more to the economic development of the country," the President said.
