Driving licences issued in Moldova, Israel to be mutually recognized

Chisinau, April 17 /MOLDPRES/- Driving licences issued in Moldova and Israel will be mutually recognised. In this regard, the government has approved an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the State of Israel on procedures for converting driving licenses.
The document facilitates road traffic between the two countries and the movement of citizens on the territory of both countries. The agreement is concluded for a period of 5 years, with a possible extension for another 5 years.
The Republic of Moldova has concluded 3 similar agreements with Turkey, Lithuania and Italy.
