Chisinau, April 17 /MOLDPRES/- A new regional technical cooperation project entitled "Strengthening sustainable and digital trade routes and logistics concepts between Eastern Partnership countries and with the EU" was launched yesterday at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development (MIDR) and is aimed at managers and technical experts from public institutions, as well as staff from enterprises, especially SMEs, in the trade, transport and logistics sectors.
By modernising infrastructure and business practices, the project seeks to unlock the region's trade potential, promote economic growth and prioritise environmental sustainability. MIDR Deputy Secretary General Eugen Harabara thanked the Federal Government of Germany and GIZ Moldova for their continued support in the development of the country and welcomed the launch of the project, noting that it responds to critical needs at a time when institutional and logistical capacity building in transport is imperative.

It aims to strengthen trade potential, promote economic growth and prioritise environmental sustainability by accelerating a greener and interconnected future for all".
