President broached "importance of strengthening to support and promote Moldova's accession to EU" with pro-European parties' representatives

Chisinau, April 17 /MOLDPRES/- Head of state Maia Sandu met today with representatives of several pro-European parties. The official stressed the importance of strengthening all pro-European parties to support and promote Moldova's accession to the European Union.
Head of the President's Office Adrian Băluțel said that the meeting was attended by representatives of the DA Platform, the Coalition for Unity and Welfare (CUB), the Party of Change (PS) and the League of Cities and Villages (LOC), which formed the "Together" political bloc.
The President underlined "the importance of consolidating all pro-European parties to support and promote Moldova's accession to the European Union".
On 20 October, the same day as the presidential elections, a referendum on Moldova's accession to the European Union, initiated by President Maia Sandu, is due to take place in Moldova. It will include the question "Are you in favour of Moldova joining the European Union?".
