PHOTO Police employees to benefit from modern equipment in public order and safety crisis management

Chisinau, April 18 /MOLDPRES/ - Police employees will benefit from modern equipment in managing public order and safety crises. The donation was offered today by Spain during an official visit of Minister for Home Affairs Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gomez.

Attending event were Interior Minister Adrian Efros, Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gomez, as well as Deputy Head of the General Inspectorate of Police Lilian Carabeț.

The donation includes modern equipment such as tablets, monitors, body cameras and will play a key role in improving the operational capabilities of the police and in facilitating evidence gathering activities.

Efros thanked the partners for support and stressed that thanks to this donation the national police will provide more efficient services to its citizens.

The value of the donation is almost €1 million.
