Moldovan, European officials address current situation

Chisinau, April 18 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu today discussed Moldova's accession to the European Union with a delegation of the Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia (COEST). The working group includes representatives of all EU member states and supports the work of the European Council in the area of neighbourhood policy.

The discussion focused on the implementation of reforms, including justice and fight against corruption. The sides discussed the importance of partnerships with EU member states in order to increase our country's capacity to resist external challenges. The President thanked the EU states for their continued support to our country and citizens.
