On October 20, citizens expected to referendum on Moldova's accession to EU

Chisinau, April 19 /MOLDPRES/- Presidential elections and a referendum on Moldova's accession to the European Union will be held in Moldova on October 20, 2024. Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) leader Igor Grosu made the statement at a briefing.

The PAS faction has registered a draft resolution on holding the referendum in the legislature.

He noted that in the referendum citizens will answer the question "Are you in favour of Moldova joining the European Union?".

Grosu said that the legislature is carrying out all the necessary procedures for the electoral process.

He urged political forces and representatives of civil society to get actively involved in the information campaign for the referendum.
