Moldovan, American officials address cooperation

Washington DC, April 19 /MOLDPRES/- The United States is Moldova's most important partner when it comes to sanctions. Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi had a meeting with U.S. Treasury Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Brian Nelson. Popsoi thanked the American official for his leadership in sanctioning those who undermine Moldova's democracy and independence.

"The support we receive from our American partners makes us more confident and determined in the fight against the propaganda, disinformation and hybrid attacks we face.

I am confident that this support will continue, we will closely monitor all those who want to undermine the Republic of Moldova, and we remain united in supporting Ukraine and Ukrainian people in Russia's unjust and unjustified war on our Ukrainian friends," Popsoi said.
