Moldova to have new ambassador to Switzerland

Chisinau, April 24 /MOLDPRES/ - Vladimir Cuc will be appointed Moldova's ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and at the same time, permanent representative of our country to the UN Office in Geneva. The members of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and European integration approved his candidacy.

Cuc holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and a master's degree in the same field. From 2021 to the present, he has been State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Under the Law on diplomatic service, proposals for appointment as ambassador are submitted to the Government by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, in consultation with the foreign policy and European integration committee.
