Chisinau, May 2 /MOLDPRES/- First-level local public authorities will be able to grant monthly bonus for senior civil servants of up to 50% of the basic salary. The provision is included in a law that was published today in the Official Journal and entered into force.
According to the document, the bonus will be granted in order to strengthen the professional capacities of civil servants in city halls.
Financial means will be allocated from own revenues of the local public authority, under an internal regulation approved by a decision of the local council.
The bonus may be granted to civil servants who do not receive the monthly benefit provided for in the Local Public Administration Law.
