PHOTO USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu" signed Memorandum with MENSANA

Chisinau, May 8 /MOLDPRES/ - The State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemitanu" has concluded a Memorandum of Understanding with the Moldovan-Swiss project MENSANA.

It aims to strengthen the skills of students, resident doctors, teachers, medical workers in mental health in the initial, postgraduate and continuing medical education.

Rector Emil Ceban and MENSANA project's local manager Victoria Condrat signed the memorandum.

The parties will jointly organize training programs and trainings, develop and strengthen the clinical basis within the community mental health centres, as well as adapt, diversify and improve educational materials and digital resource platforms in the mental health.

Support for the reform of mental health services in Moldova project MENSANA is conducted with the support of the Swiss Government, in line with the reform needs set by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova. Since 2014, the project facilitates the implementation of mental health services reform in Moldova, so that people with mental health problems can benefit from services as needed and achieve their recovery goals.
