Moldovan woman wrestler qualifies for Olympic Games

Chisinau, 10 May /MOLDPRES/ - A woman wrestler, Mariana Draguțan, has brought another quota place of Moldova at the Paris Olympic Games. The sportswoman defeated the triple champion at the age category of up to 53 kg,  Sztalvira Orsos (Hungary), at a fight which ensured her the qualification for the Paris Olympic Games, during the pre-Olympic tournament in Istanbul, Turkey.   

This is the third Olympic quota place at the event of women’s wrestling got by Moldova, after Anastasia Nichita and Irina Ringaci have earlier ensured their presence at the Summer Olympic Games due this year.  

So far, Moldova has ensured 12 quota places at the Paris Olympic Games.
