Chisinau hosts scientific-practical conference - Gheorghe Paladi Days, 95th anniversary

Chisinau, May 17 /MOLDPRES/ - A scientific-practical conference entitled Gheorghe Paladi Days, the 95th anniversary is held in Chisinau. The event is organized by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) "Nicolae Testemitanu" in partnership with Gheorghe Paladi Municipal Clinical Hospital.

The event is held at Gheorghe Paladi hospital today.

On 9 May, the medical community marked the 95th birth anniversary of academician Gheorghe Paladi - a remarkable personality of local medicine and higher medical education, PhD of medical sciences, university professor, who for over 65 years has been working in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu". The professor has dedicated more than 70 years of his life to the implementation of medical reforms, the care of pregnant women and the training of generations of specialists in obstetrics, gynaecology and surgery.

Since 2020, the name of the illustrious doctor and scientist has been given to IMSP Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Chisinau.
