Chisinau, 20 May /MOLDPRES/ - Two suspect cases of measles were registered in the Chisinau municipality in the last week. The deputy head of the medical and social assistance general department of the Chisinau city hall, Vladimir Bolocan, today made statements to this effect at an operative meeting of the municipal services.
In the context, Vladimir Bolocan urged, in continuation, the parents to vaccinate their children against measles.
„A gladdening thing is that the vaccination does its job. Therefore, I remind everybody to vaccinate not only against measles, but also with other vaccines available against diseases,’’ Bolocan noted.
The vaccination against measles is made for free starting the ages of 12 months, 6-7 years and 15-16 years.
