Prime Minister urged citizens to participate in European Parliament election

Chisinau, May 29 /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today urged Moldovan citizens, who also have European citizenship to participate in European parliamentary elections due on June 6-9.
"European elections are scheduled to be held from 6 to 9 June. I would like to ask and urge all citizens of Moldova, and those who are abroad to attend the elections. It is very important to vote for parties from families that support the expansion of Europe and support Moldova's European path", he said.
52 polling stations will be opened in Moldova, of which 28 in the Centre (13 in Chisinau), 17 in the North and 7 in the South.
The official urged citizens in the diaspora to register for the presidential elections on 20 October and for the referendum on the platform launched yesterday by the Central Electoral Commission. "I want to ask everyone to register. On www.inregistrare.cec.md, there will be the registration application for postal voting for the United States, Canada, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland. I urge everyone to register," he said.
On 20 October, elections for President of the Republic of Moldova and the constitutional republican referendum will be held in our country.
