Moldova, Romania to host European Higher Education Area ministerial conference in 2027

Chisinau, May 31 /MOLDPRES/-Moldova and Romania will host the ministerial conference of the European Higher Education Area in 2027 in Iasi and Chisinau. The decision was adopted in Tirana, Albania by a vote of the member states of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

The conference will bring together ministers of education from the member countries of the European Union and the EHEA, representatives of the European Commission, European and global quality assurance organisations. The event is a tool for monitoring and advancing the Bologna process.

"Moldova's alignment with the implementation of the Bologna Process means for our young people the chance to participate in academic mobility abroad, higher quality studies at home and the opportunity for future recognition of diplomas obtained in the Republic of Moldova at European level", Minister of Education and Research Dan Perciun said.
