Moldovan PM wishes nice childhood to all children on 1 June

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has conveyed a message on the occasion of the International Children’s Day, marked in Moldova today. The official informed that a Chamber of children would soon be opened at the government’s headquarters, where children will be able to spend their time till the finishing of parents’ working schedule.
„I saw more smiles and enthusiasm at the government yesterday, where we celebrated the International Children’s Day, along with children of colleagues from the Chancellery and the State Protection and Guard Service. I wished the pupils a nice vacation and I informed the children that the Chamber of children would be soon opened at the government’s headquarters, where they will be able to spend their time till the end of the parents’ working schedule. I wish a nice childhood to all children!’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.
The activities for children continue also today, starting from 10:00, at the Chisinau-based Botanical Garden. The schedule, We Celebrate Childhood Together, is held there, with the support of the Interior Ministry and Culture Ministry. The entrance is free for everybody and the first 3,000 children will receive sweet snacks.
At the same time, the Education and Research Ministry and the ARTICO Republican Centre for Children and Youth organize a string of activities in the Steven the Great and Holy Public Garden from Chisinau starting from 11:00 till 14:00.
The schedule will include creation workshops, interactive games, face painting, drawing on asphalt, entertaining shows, quizzes, tombolas, etc.
The parliament on 2023 declared 1 June as day-off for all employees.
The International Children’s Day is annually marked in Moldova on 1 June. The event is celebrated in line with the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization in 1959.
