Revenues of State Fiscal service to national public budget increase by 10.8 per cent in Moldova in first five months of 2024

Chisinau, 3 June /MOLDPRES/ - The revenues to the national public budget, managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS), grew by 2.7 billion lei in the first five months of the 2024 year or by 10.8 per cent against the same period of the year before. These revenues amounted to 27.9 billion lei.
Thus, 11.6 billion lei was collected in the state budget in the first five months of this year, which is by about 450.7 million lei more against the same period of the 2023 year, or increasing by four per cent.
According operative information by SFS, revenues worth about 3.1 billion lei were registered in the local budgets, up by 376.9 million lei or by 14.1 per cent more against the same period of the previous year.
Also, about 10 billion lei was collected to the state social insurances budget, which is by about 1.5 billion lei more or up by 17.1 per cent against the same period of the 2023 year.
At the same time, 3.3 billion lei was accumulated in the mandatory health insurances accounts, which is by 15.2 per cent more against the same time interval of the previous year.
