Moldovan cabinet's spokesman says government analyzes option to use former headquarters of Prosecutor General's Office for new headquarters of Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office

Chisinau, 4 June /MOLDPRES/ - The government actively analyzes the option to use the former headquarters of the Prosecutor General’s Office (PG) for the new headquarters of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office (PA). The spokesman for the government, Daniel Voda, today made statements to this effect, after information on the identification of a new headquarters for PA had appeared in mass media.
„The discussions are underway, in order to identify optimal solutions due to observe the interests and the continuity of the work of all institutions involved,’’ Daniel Voda said.
Presently, the building of the former headquarters of PG is used by the National Integrity Authority and by the Service for the Prevention and Combating of Money Laundering.
At a TV programme on 3 June, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu said that a new headquarters had been identified for the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office.
