Spokesman for government says Moldovans united for peaceful, prosperous country, where each citizen feels respected

Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/ - About 2,000 people from Comrat have been informed about the campaign, FOR Moldova’s accession to the European Union, at the constitutional referendum from 20 October 2024. Representatives of the government, Presidency, officials and volunteers participated in a visit to southern Moldova.
The spokesman for the government, Daniel Voda, stressed that the volunteers and officials had discussed the European integration’s advantages with residents from the southern region of the country.
„We are in the Comrat municipality today, where the information campaign for the referendum continues. I was quite surprised by the good-will of all people to put questions and discuss the complaints, minuses and advantages of the European integration for Moldova. Today, I understood that we are all united for a peaceful Moldova, prosperous Moldova, a Moldova in which each citizen is respected, no matter the language spoken: Romanian, Russian, Ukrainian or Gagauz,’’ Daniel Voda said.
The spokesman noted that the information action continued all over the country and was underway in more settlements of Moldova. Thus, the people can join and become volunteers on the platform, www.pentru.md.
The elections for the office of Moldova’s president and the republican constitutional referendum will be held on 20 October 2024.
