Moldovan Customs Service collects over 782 million lei in last week

Chisinau, 10 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Customs Service collected over 782 million lei to the state budget on 3-9 June, this year. This represents a meeting of the control figure of 104 per cent for the concerned period.
At the same time, on this period, private people imported assets the value of which in customs exceeds the non-taxable limit, with payments worth about 17 million lei collected, which accounts for 2.17 per cent of the overall sum. The money collected from tax payers is transferred directly to the state budget and is redistributed for salaries, development of infrastructure, social projects, etc.
Also in the last week, 12,280 customs declarations were processed and the flow of transport means stood at 60,276 crossings. The most transited customs checkpoints stay Leuseni and Sculeni, with 17,855 and, respectively, 13,732 crossings.
Since the beginning of the 2024 year, the Customs Service has collected about 15.48 billion lei to the state budget, which represents a meeting of the control figure of 111 per cent.
