Moldovan parliamentary delegation to attend solemn event on 160th anniversary of establishment of Romanian Senate

Chisinau, 17 June. /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee members will pay a working visit to Romanian Parliament on 17-18 June 2024.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the delegation includes MPs Ina Coșeru, Alina Dandara, Mihail Druță, Vitalie Jacot and Mariana Lucrețeanu.
The parliamentary delegation will take part in a solemn event on the 160th anniversary of the founding of the Romanian Senate.
In Bucharest, they will hold talks with the leadership of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, chairman of the Senate's Foreign Policy Committee Titus Corlățean, and senators, chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Chamber of Deputies Rozalia Biro. The agenda also includes meetings with President of the Committee for Defence, Public Order and National Security Nicoleta Pauliuc, Secretary of State for European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Daniela Grigore Gîtman, Minister of Investments and European Projects Adrian Câciu.
Discussions with Bucharest officials will focus on Romania's support and expertise in Moldova's accession to the European Union, advancement of joint projects and European support to strengthen Moldova's resilience.
